I think it would be fair to say that given the notably high cost of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 (currently averaging around £1,400 with most retailers), many consumers have now turned their attention towards AMD and their upcoming (and significantly less expensive) 7900 XT and 7900 XTX graphics cards. Predominantly in the hope that they’ll act as a ‘just as good’ alternative.
With the Radeon 7900 series set for release on December 13th, therefore, we can clearly expect over the coming weeks not just more information from AMD themselves, but also AIB partners as their custom AIB models get leaked online. – In this specific instance, however, a leak this is not. Yes, taking to their official Facebook channel, PowerColor has teased the launch of its upcoming Radeon RX 7900 XTX Red Devil GPU.
It should be noted that PowerColor has not confirmed any specific details regarding this 7900 XTX Red Devil graphics card. We have no clock speeds. No specifications. Basically, what you see is what you get (right now). – With that being said though, this is certainly a rather attractive design and one which will undoubtedly draw them some attention. – And in regards to attention, PowerColor clearly seems to want it as only last week they also teased the launch of their similarly attractive 7900 HellFire.
Overall, even the most ardent Nvidia fan must be getting their heads turned a little with AMD’s upcoming 7900 XT and 7900 XTX. I certainly know mine has!
