Officially speaking, Nvidia hasn’t (yet) confirmed the launch of the 3070 Ti. Let alone that it may even potentially be on the way. With that being said though, we all know that it probably is in the pipeline, but in terms of an official announcement, they are still remaining quiet on the subject (similar to the 3080 Ti). Following a report via Videocardz, however, it would potentially appear that the GPU is indeed on the way as a pre-built system from Lenovo briefly listed a 3070 Ti in the specifications.
Specifically found on the Lenovo Legion T7 34IMZ45 pre-built gaming PC, an eagle-eyed person noted that an Nvidia 3070 Ti graphics card was part of the product specifications listed. – Now, since this was spotted, the retailer has since shut the website down. It is, however, one of the first indications that not only does such a GPU exist, but that it may potentially be set for an announcement in the very near future!
The overwhelming theory regarding both the 3080 and 3070 Ti is that Nvidia has unofficially delayed their launch until stock levels of their already released graphics card improved. As such, the 3070 Ti probably already exists, it just hasn’t been allowed to leave Nvidia’s HQ yet.
While the retailer has, therefore, cited that the reference to it was due to an error, we suspect that this is probably fairly accurate for a pre-built design that was supposed to be coming out this month.
