Predator @ Computex 2023
Peter Donnell / 1 year ago
There’s no shortage of memory products here at Computex 2023 but was is interesting is both the dropping prices and the increasing performance of the latest DDR5 modules. Most notable is the Predator Hermes RGB, a set of high-end DDR5 memory that’s finally showing that CAS latency is finally getting better for the new platform.
The new Hermes memory comes in comes in 32 GB 2 x 16, and 64 GB 2 x 32 kits. Furthermore, it’s going to be available in speeds from DDR5-6800 right up to a whopping DDR5-8000. However, as I said, the CAS latencies now come in at just 32T and 36T, which should have a huge impact on their overall performance.
