Private Division Cancels Publishing Deal with Bloober Team for Project C

Private Division, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive, has reportedly terminated its publishing agreement with Bloober Team for their upcoming survival horror game, Project C. This development means Bloober Team must now find a new publisher for their title.
Termination Details
The termination details emerged from a post by Twitter user MauroNL. The terms of the cancellation are still being negotiated, but the original agreement allowed Private Division to back out without reason. Bloober Team and Private Division had signed the deal in September 2021.
This move by Private Division follows a trend, as Take-Two Interactive recently announced plans to cancel multiple games. Earlier this month, the company also laid off a substantial number of employees at Private Division.
Looking Ahead
As of now, neither Take-Two Interactive nor Bloober Team have commented on the termination. The Polish studio, Bloober Team, is also known for its work on the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake, expected in 2024.
The gaming community awaits further updates on Project C’s future and Bloober Team’s search for a new publisher. Despite this setback, there remains hope that Project C will find a new home and reach its eager audience.
