Project CARS 2 Shows McLaren 720S in Action—Pre-Order Now Available

Bandai Namco Entertainment has released more footage of the upcoming Project CARS 2 in action. This time it is the McLaren 720S in full view, tearing up the tracks at dusk. Only a glimpse of the slick-looking race car was available in early trailers. Now it can be seen racing in the actual gameplay graphics. Developer Slightly Mad studios self-describes the game as “most technically advanced and beautiful” racing game made. After seeing the trailer, that just might be true.

Various Editions Now Available for Pre-Order

Project Cars 2 is now available for pre-order for the PC, XBox and Playstation. There is a standard edition and three refined editions options: Limited, Collectors and Ultra.

LIMITED EDITION will be available for the same price as the standard edition but will have limited availability. It offers an extra sticker sheet, Steelbook and exclusive Japanese Cars pack. This DLC contains four cars from Honda and Nissan.

A COLLECTOR’S EDITION offers similar bonuses as the Limited Edition but with a scale model of the MacLaren 720S. This is diecast in exclusive SMS-R Stealth Satin livery as seen on the trailer and is a 1/43 scale model. Also included is an Esport Live VIP pass, a Season pass and the Motorsport Pack DLC.

The top-shelf ULTRA EDITION is limited to 1,000 copies. It also contains every single extra from the previous two other editions. A larger 1/12 scale Resin McLaren 720S replaces the 1/43 scale model McLaren instead. The Ultra Edition also adds a signed poster, an individually numbered Snapback cap, and a McLaren Sketchbook. This sketchbook is an official collaboration with McLaren that follows the development of the 720S, from inception, through design, to engineering.
