Running our cooling tests we saw some absolutely fantastic results. I was really quite surprised with these especially considering that the provided fans, the Bitfenix Spectre Pro PWM 140mm fans, are actually pretty mediocre as our previous review showed. The Prolimatech MK-26 out-performed the much more expensive Arctic Accelero Hybrid 7970 and demolished the stock cooler.
Acoustic performance was very similar to the two Arctic competitors. Indeed if you equipped better quality fans you’d be able to lower these even further. Either way the MK-26 with the Spectre Pro fans was a huge improvement over the stock cooler.
