Prolimatech Vortex Fan Reviews

The only 120mm fan we tested was the Vortex 12 LED fan and it performed kind of average, nothing to get too excited about.
It had the same acoustics as Xigmatek XAF-F1255 yet performed a little bit worse so we can conclude that the Vortex 12 LED fan from Prolimatech is basically average.
We had three 140mm fans but since two are identical we have simplified the graph to show both results as one entry. The Vortex 14 Blue (LED) fans were very good, running quiet and with good temperatures. There isn’t really anything to complain about and they are a very strong fan, not quite as good as the BitFenix Spectre LED fans but they are only 0.6 degrees off. The Vortex 14 Aluminium fans were clearly the best we had tested and I guess the metal blades do help.
Though we can see the Aluminium series fans were easily the noisiest fans which reduces the “value” of the performance somewhat though if all you want is extreme performance then they are definitely a winner. The Vortex 14 Blue (LED) 140mm fans were very quiet and I was very impressed with those.
