With only a week to go until the PlayStation 4 hits stores in North America, Sony comes with more additional content reveals and are throwing in a few last-minute freebies for new PS4 buyers.
The company announced that for a limited time all new PS4 systems will include a voucher for $10 of credit in the PlayStation Store, which can be used on a number of PS4 launch titles, or PS3 and Vita titles. In addition, buyers will get a 30-day trial of PlayStation Plus, giving them temporary access to a variety of features, including online gameplay and an Instant Game Collection that will include PS4 indie titles Resogun and Contrast at launch.
Sony is also giving away a 30-day free trial of its Music Unlimited streaming service for new subscribers to the $10/month Premium Plan. It’s hard to consider this an extra freebie, though, since this same offer is available to anyone who wants to try out the service, whether they have a PS4 or not.
To be noted is that the freebies are available to US and Canada customers according to the PS4 Blog. Also, the freebies given might not be all that amazing and wonderful as before, but still it’s better than nothing and it won’t last forever.
