QNAP may be best known for their NAS products, but it looks like they’re reaching out into the world of routers too with the TGX-150. This budget friendly 1-bay NAS comes with a few extra features to keep the entry-level consumer happy.
It features a single 2.5″ SATA 6GB/s drive mount in the base, perfect for storing your multimedia files. It’s powered by the Intel Atom 2Ghz (up to 2.5Ghz), with 2GB of DDR3 RAM. It’s hardly a powerhouse, but for a light backup system, it’s more than enough.
It uses built-in 2.4/5GHz dual-band 11AC MU-MIMO Wi-Fi AP, while also offering 5 x 1GbE switch ports, giving you plenty of connectivity for multiple users. Best of all, it’s stylish, compact, easy to use thanks to its mostly plug-and-play nature, and it runs completely fanless too!
