In the same way that the file copy from NAS traces the same file back across to the test system, the directory copy from NAS does exactly the same but to the entire directory that it copied across previously.
When pulling the same directory back from the system, the patter is virtually mirrored once again with JBOD just outperforming the striped array. RAID10 surprisingly is behind RAID1 but repeated testing gave similar results.
