Personal security is an every growing concern and thanks to NVR and NAS devices that is something that everyone can tackle on a fairly decent budget. QNAP has a big line-up of both network attached storage (NAS) and network video recorders (NVR) and they’ve just announced that they now are compatible with Dahua’s full portfolio of network cameras.
“This is our second integration since cooperation, we tested 25 IPC models, the most representable ones,” said Peter Pan, Product Manager at Dahua Technology, “this integration once again satisfies the demand from our mutual clients, presenting them more choices in model selection while enjoying QNAP robust storage solutions.”
QNAP and Dahua together thoroughly tested the IP cameras for video and audio recording, motion detection, fisheye dewarping, PTZ control, preset positions and auto-cruising for PTZ cameras, and more. Dahua Technology’s IP cameras have passed all these tests without trouble and have proven to integrate well with QNAP surveillance solutions.
This is great news as it opens a world up for you with a lot more cameras to choose from when you design or upgrade your surveillance system for real-time video and audio monitoring and as well as recording for playback and control at a later time.
