Packaging
The box is made from cardboard with a plastic centre showcasing the mouse in all its glory. Alongside this is a list of main features including the laser sensor, 7 buttons and that it has a gold plated USB connector. We are also informed that GLIDZ are included which we will look into a little bit later on.
The back of the box gives a lot more detail information in many different languages on the main features of the mouse compared to the front. It also gives a blurb about the Qpad 5K pro gaming laser mouse and also a bit about Qpad and their grassroots commitment explaining how they have developed over time to become the company they are today.
Also on the right of the box is a silhouette of two gamers with Qpad t-shirts on. We do love a bit of self-pimping here at eTeknix and this is a prime example.
When purchasing a mouse, you generally won’t expect it to come with a mass amount of accessories, sometimes (dependant on the mouse) you may get weights included, or a docking station if the mouse is wireless, but you can always bet on receiving a user guide and installation software CD.
This mouse is no different with a software CD, and full colour user guide which also lists the product information and gives a bit of an insight as to other Qpad products on the market. The full specifications are also listed within the guide.
Also hiding away in the manual is a set of GLIDZ which are a Teflon based set of pads to attach to the bottom of the mouse. As the mouse already has these fitted, we are assuming that these are for replacement purposes over time. We are also on the understanding that these pads can be bought separately.
