Comfort
We found that from using this mouse over a long period of time, it remained comfortable and didn’t give any untoward effects from using it from these long periods. Obviously we tested the mouse to the max in comparison to most users who would be taking short breaks between use, but we wanted to see how someone would cope in the most extreme circumstances.
Features
As expected, the ability to give programmable keys appealed to us in a variety of different applications and games and with the macro feature enabled, it gave us more settings than we could have hoped for when compared to a standard mouse.
Functionality
The macro and programmable keys add to the functionality, but with the ability to alter the scroll speed, cursor speed and change DPI settings, the mouse catered for whatever needs we wanted at the time of usage.
Gaming
For the three games that we tested, the majority rely on accuracy when using weapons and we were extremely pleased with the results that we got with a 24% increase in kills over a standard OEM style mouse. We also find that exploring the gaming world was a painless task with increased DPI settings.
Photoshop
Photoshop can be used for a multitude of tasks including photo retouching and this is where we found the ability to configure the DPI settings really helped by giving us a smooth platform to use for giving the final touches to a photo with regards to using smaller brush sizes and smooth outlines on photos.
