Testing
There are two areas in which testing will be focused, the first will be for day-to-day and office type use and then after, the pad will be tested in a gaming environment where its design and build is, on paper, best suited.
General Use

Testing in an office’ type environment is based around word processing, image manipulation, navigation and file movement to name but a few areas. Comfort, practicality and noise from the pad is what we’re looking for.
Once a space on the desk large enough to place the pad was found (not having the largest desk in the world made this quite a laugh but one was found), its size came up trumps whilst using Photoshop, during which I have the sensitivity on my mouse reduced for accuracy. The large working area meant that I didn’t have to keep lifting and moving the mouse back and forth when i came to the edge.
Not being a cloth surface, there is a expected a little amount of noise from the surface during use but this is not enough to drive you round the bend and the Teflon feet provided did reduce this noise a little more to just a whisper.
Gaming

Whilst playing games I was a little sceptical that its huge size was going to be a much a use as during day to day use as my mouse sensitivity is quite high, but alas it came up trumps again and I could concentrate more on the game rather than wondering when i was going to run off the edge of the pad again.
Any noise that there was during general use would be cancelled out by in game sounds and long term use posed not discomfort to my hand or arm.
