Final Thoughts
In an essence, a mouse mat is just a mat after all, but for those that want to ensure that they are getting the best response possible from their mouse then this is a good piece of kit to have. The build quality and feel of it is very good and you can tell from this that a lot of thought has gone into its design and construction.

The 3 layer design works well to bind all design features of the pad together. The Carbytek gives a fantastic working surface for the mouse, the soft rubber base grips the desk whilst the ABS inbetween binds its all together and stiffens the pad up.

For those that are still thinking where on earth am I supposed to put this Goliath of a pad on my desk, hold no fear as QPAD do produce a slightly smaller version of the HeatoN as well, thus catering for all types of user.
