Quad Core APU’s only

The NDA and Press embargo on AMD’s fusion APU processors is due to be lifted on Thursday 30th June and it is expected that they will reveal the launch of the A6 and A8 fusion processors only. This means that the other APU’s the A4’s and E2’s are not going to be released until a later date.
By Monday the 4th of July most e-tailers and computer stockists will start to receive the first of the new stock. It is not even certain if AMD will release the entire A6 and A8 ranges of processors, it may take a while longer for the higher end models to be tweaked first, much like with how the Phenom II 980 and 970 took over a year longer than some of the lower end models like the 940 and 955.
However, this is not concrete yet, stick around for AMD’s official press release on Thursday after the Non-Disclosure Agreement expires.
