Although there are cheaper coolers that are either better or on par with the performance of this one, none of them are as quiet or as aesthetically pleasing. I think this is actually a fair price for what you are getting.

Overview

The be quiet! Pure Rock 120mm CPU cooler is an excellent mixture of performance, aesthetics, price and silence. It looks like a premium product, for less than £30 you could have this in your system and it would look great, it has the simple yet stylish look that we are accustomed to from be quiet! and I really do like it.

Performance wise, it could probably do better, particularly at stock. This however is something that you need to look at from a certain angle, when the cooler needs to do work, such as cooling a processor that’s under heavy load and overclocked, it does actually do very well, whilst being almost silent. It depends on what you want from your cooler, if you want amazing cooling, then this isn’t what you’re after, If you want silence, then this is the product for you.
