Raidmax Unveils The SIGMA Mid-Tower Chassis

Raidmax might not be the first name which comes to mind for most people when considering PC cases, but they’ve got a fairly impressive line-up featuring a number of intriguing aesthetic designs. Recently, Raidmax unveiled their brand new mid-chassis entitled the SIGMA which employs a unique horizontally-compartmentalised interior layout. More specifically, the horizontal partition stops short of the front panel instead of running along the case’s entire length. This adds additional space for a large 360mm x 120mm radiator in the front section as well as housing fans attached to its inner side.
The case features a brushed aluminium front-panel with four perforated steel polygonal intakes. Also, there is enough room to install 2.5-inch drive bays along the motherboard tray and two 3.5-inch bays in the bottom compartment. In addition to the three 120mm front intakes, the case comes with an extra two 120mm top exhausts and a 120mm rear exhaust. On another note, a tempered glass side panel is included to show off the entire build and add a more premium feel. This attaches using thumb-screws at the side. Connectivity-wise, the case has two USB 3.0 and the standard audio jacks.
Unfortunately, Raidmax didn’t provide any details regarding the SIGMA’s pricing but I expect it to remain fairly affordable given their previous offerings. Overall, the case looks very solid and seems to have a pretty decent layout.
