Raidmax have just revealed their new Vampire PSU series, as well as their budget friendly Vampire Winterfall chassis. The power supplies are targeted at the budget friendly end of the market, but come well equipped with features such as 80PLUS Gold certification that should offer good value for money in terms of reliability and efficiency.
The Vampire PSUs are designed for gaming systems, so they’re equipped with extra quiet and temperature controlled 135mm fans, semi-modular cables; the ATX and EPS plugs are pre-fitted. The Vampire PSUs are equipped with dual 12V rails, all are 80PLUS Gold certified and come equipped with a range of protection features such as OPP, OVP, UVP and SCP.
The Winterfall chassis features a very aggressive front panel design that has been given a soft touch finish and features a huge side panel window to help show off your build. It comes with support for E-ATX motherboards, graphics card of up to 330mm in length and tall CPU coolers. There are seven hard drive bays, each with support for 2.5″ and 3.5″ drives, five 5.25″ drive bays on the front, and ten PCI expansion slots around the back that’ll be perfect for multi-GPU configurations.
The top panel is well equipped too, with a 2.5″ drive dock, fan controller and USB 3.0 ports. The rest of the chassis features dust filters, tool-free drive installation and cable routing space.
The Vampire PSUs will start at 74.99 EUR for the 700w model up to 114.99 EUR for the 1000w model. The Winterfall chassis is also rather affordable at just 129.99 EUR for the white model and 119.99 EUR for the black model. All prices are MSRP and include 19% VAT.
