Installation

Installing this cooler is pretty straightforward, and should easily appeal to those looking for a quick build, or even to those who have limited experience in mounting CPU coolers. The universal backplate goes on the back of the motherboard, and you simply slot the four long screws through the back.

Four plastic spacers hold the screws in place, and only have to be slid onto the screws.

Fit the Intel or AMD brackets in place using the four included thumb screws.

Add your thermal paste, and use a screwdriver and two screws to mount the CPU cooler onto the brackets.

Finally, use the four rubber pegs or the metal clips to fit the fan to the tower, and connect the PWM header to the motherboard. Overall, it took me around five minutes to install, now let’s power it up and see how it performs!
