Raijintek Aidos CPU Cooler Review

Performance

This is quite a small cooler, so to expect to break any records would be silly, but what impressive is that it’s competitive against coolers that easily cost more than it. It’s within the same range as the popular Cooler Master 212X here, and like we said, it’s noticeably cheaper.

When overclocking, we drew more similarities between this and the 212X, both are great coolers, but do struggle a lot with such a drastic overclock and high voltages. That being said, if you’re only running boost clocks, or overclocking to a lesser extent, you’ll find the Aidos to be more than adequate.

The tiny cooler has to work fairly hard given its size, but at stock clocks it’s still surprisingly quiet and will within a comfortable range to not have to hear it on a non-overclocked CPU.

Pushing the clocks up, the Aidos is feeling the heat here, a little louder than the 212X, a little louder than most actually. There’s really no need to push it this hard though, if you want to overclock this much and need to run the fan this loud, it’s a clear indication you need a bigger CPU cooler.
