While Raijintek may be best known for their stunning chassis and cooling products, did you know they also make great power supplies? We stopped by their booth here at Computex 2017 to check out which models they’re bringing to market this year.
The new RGB Series is pretty much self-explanatory, they’ve been upgraded with lovely RGB fans to give them some extra customisation. Of course, they’re still rated for 80 Plus Bronze and come in both 550W and 650W variants, and all fully modular.
They had quite a few other units on show, both new and current. The one that really caught our eye though was the APELLA.
This unit comes with an 80 Plus Gold ratings, fully modular connector design, and is available in 550W, 650W, and 750W variants. These will all be priced at $90, $100, and $113 respectively.
What’s super interesting is that these Apella units come with no cables at all! You didn’t read that wrong. You’ll be able to but any of their add-on modular cable kits to suit your needs. These are available in lots of lovely colourful variants, all high-quality sleeved. This means you’ll get all the cables you need to suit your build. It’s an interesting idea, and I’m eager to see how popular they are. Personally, I think it’s great, You don’t need to replace the old cables or have them sleeved after purchase. Of course, this means you’re saving quite a bit of money, and not wasting any excess cables.
