Ratchet & Clank: QForce PS3 Review

Graphically the game isn’t terrible, but its not exactly heart warming either. The series has always had fairly robust and competent graphics but there was something lacking in this game that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. I think the word I’m looking for is “unremarkable”.
Design is good, but then again it’s mostly assets that have been seen in other games in the series, the characters, voices and general themes have all been predefined and there is little new here visually that you won’t have seen before.
The frame rate wasn’t superb either and tips me more toward saying the game engine isn’t as refined as it could be. Yet again the game doesn’t look “bad” as such, its just average at best, which is in many games enough, this is a tower defence game, not Uncharted 3 so as long as the gameplay holds up, I’ll allow it.
