Ratchet & Clank: QForce PS3 Review

In my opinion the story and pace of the game is too rushed. The game approches you like your a child with the various charecters, plot lines and ideas but lays on gaming concepts that require a strategic mind that my 6yr oldson just couldn’t wrap his head around and that I found to be a little tiresome. In short, were not getting off to a good start here are we? so lets see if I can break this down and make sense of it.
The important thing to point out first is that playing this game on single player is a complete waste of time in my opinion. It begs for you to have some support with you and bringing in a 2nd player will make the game playable. Try it on your own and your likely to be punished by the games uncontrollable masses of enemies, in short, the game doesn’t scale or balance for different size groups of players. The games AI leaves a lot to be desired and its also one of the main reasons you really need to bring a friend as the computer controlled allies love to kick back and watch you fight of hordes of enemies.
The classic elements that make the series are still present though, there are moment of exploration and collection bolts that are rather pleasant, but its all in aid of returning back to your base in time to stop the next wave of enemies. This is done in usual tower defence format of building offensive and defensive structures and of course getting stuck in your self and whacking a few bad guys.
