Ratchet & Clank: QForce PS3 Review

So overall I think its fair to say that I didn’t like QForce, which is something I’m not even trying to hide. That isn’t to say the game doesn’t have any merits though and there are some aspect of it that are worth pointing out, especially since I’ve said a lot of bad things about it so far.

The co-op gameplay is a massive improvement over the single-player, this is the games saviour point and while I wouldn’t exactly waste away hour after hour on a co-op gaming night with this title, it does make for a suitable distraction once in a while. The competitive multi-player option may be flawed but can be a lot of fun.

The missions are a fair size too and offer plenty of content and challange to those who seek it, its mostly tried and tested stuff as far as tower defence goes and while I think there was room for it to be more dynamic and original, it can still be pretty entertaining.

It’s always good to see developers trying something new with a series and I’m sure there will be a lot of fun here for hardcore fans of the series that are looking for a new adventure. Unfortunately though this game just isn’t for me and when it comes to tower defence games there are better options on the market, the same can be said about Ratchet & Clank games.
