Raven Ridge Outperforms Bristol Ridge by up to 90%
Ashley Allen / 7 years ago
According to a new leak, AMD’s forthcoming Raven Ridge APU performs up to 90% faster than its predecessor. Fresh Geekbench benchmark scores suggest the new AMD CPU/GPU combo absolutely trashes the much-maligned Bristol Ridge APU. But, with Raven Ridge combining AMD’s Ryzen and Vega CPU and GPU architectures, respectively, such performance gains are to be expected.
Raven Ridge Geekbench Performance
The benchmarks – via Guru3D – relate to the mid-range Ryzen 5 2500U APU. The 2500U scores 3625 single-core points and 9723 multi-core points. For comparison, the Bristol Ridge A12 9800 – the fastest of its range – scores only 2607 and 6329, respectively.
