Razer Black Widow Ultimate Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

The first page of the software, which can be downloaded and installed from Razer’s website, doesn’t seem to have many options, in fact it only allows you to set-up each individual key. That said, you have full customisability and can change the function of any key, and even set certain keys to load programs. I am however, slightly uncertain why you would want to change the function of the ‘e’ key (or many of the other standard letters) as this seems a little stupid, that said, the option is there if you want it.

The second page of the software allows you to manage the profiles and gives you the options that you would expect like; New, Import, Export and Delete.

The final screen of the very simple software, allows you to manage the macro’s, which is extremely easy, and can be done both on-the-fly from the keyboard and from the software. This page also allows you to add additional commands to swap windows, lock PC as well as more basic, cut, copy and paste.
