Razer’s impressive slimline Blade Stealth laptop now comes with an 8th Gen i7 Intel processor. Specifically, the new Blade Stealth contains an Intel Core i7-8550U. Indeed, the processor boasts a 1.8 GHz base clock and a 4.0 GHz boost clock. In addition, Razer’s laptop features a 13.3-inch 3200 x 1800 resolution LED display, a 512GB M.2 SSD, and 16GB of RAM. Finally, the PC includes Killer Wireless-AC internet, plus USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 support.
The Intel 8th Gen Razer Blade Stealth is out in North America now, priced $1,699. The laptop arrives in Europe (including the UK) later this year; UK and Euro prices, however, are unknown.
In contrast, the US price puts the Razer Blade Stealth in a similar bracket to the 14-inch Razer Blade Pro. The Razer Blade, though, features a GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. Therefore, you’re mostly playing for the Stealth’s low-profile. Even so, I’m sure many professionals will see this as a fair trade-off. However, gamers are best advised to opt for the Blade Pro over its Stealthy sibling.
