Ron Perillo / 7 years ago
It took several years, but Razer finally has updated their Electra gaming headset line with new Electra V2 models. This includes a 3.5mm and a USB version for 7.1 audio. The Electra V2 uses custom-tuned 40mm neodymium audio drivers which is suitable for a wide range of applications other than gaming. It is also lightweight at only 294 grams, using an aluminium unibody design. This allows the Electra V2 to be flexible yet durable. The headset is also capable of 7.1 virtual surround audio via software. Users can even calibrate it properly for their preference, making for an immersive sound experience.
The boom mic is removable, and has a unidirectional pick up pattern. It has a sensitivity of -41 ± 3 dB @ 1kHz and a frequency response of 100 Hz to 10kHz. As for the headphones, it has a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20kHz and 32 ± 15% impedance. Users can control the volume or mute the microphone directly on the headset.
The 3.5mm jack is compatible with a wide range of platforms including PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and other mobile devices. Its cable is 1.3 meters long and the USB variant has the same cable length.
