A Closer Look
The audio/power cable that comes supplied has many different connections. The first set of connections include a full-sized USB connector and 3.5mm audio jack for connecting to the audio source such as your computer or laptop. The second set of connections on the other end include two mini-USB connectors, for plugging into the speakers. The wire can only be described as a shoelace style as it’s threaded and has a braided style design.
The speakers are fairly small and compact in size and are completely black. They have two glossy strips around them, one at the top and one nearer the base.
By pressing the top panels in, it will reveal the 360° omnidirectional speakers which feature a solid black metal grill. When the top is pushed back in, the speakers are turned off and no sound is produced from the speakers.
The top of the speakers feature the Razer logo etched into the surface. It follows the same black colouring, but using a different shade so that it shimmers in certain lighting.
The bottom of the unit has a rubber type material ring so that the surface is held on your desk and doesn’t slip off. It uses the kind of material that someone would expect on the bottom of a mousepad. On one speaker we find the relevant CE marks, whilst the other displays the product name, model number and power ratings.
Once the speakers have been turned on (top compartment is open), you will notice there is an LED-style ring around the base of the speakers which lets off a claming blue light. The speakers feature 12 hours of playback between charges and also has the ability to play while charging.
