Razer Imperator 2012 Expert Dual Sensor Gaming Mouse Review

SoftwareThe software does not come included with the product, but is, like all other Razer drivers, available for download on their website. We were surprised that the drivers for the Razer Imperator were a ~25 Mb which is a bit more than we were expecting.

While the first page dealt with the button configurations, the second page deals with the performance settings, including the DPI settings, and sensitivities.

The third page is set-up to allow for you to ‘Manage Profiles’, which does include auto-switching when certain applications or games open up. A very useful feature to allow you to have the best settings for each program you use.

The fourth page, allows you to manage the macros which is now a fairly standard feature for most good gaming mice.

The final page gives a very empty page, but does give two options for the lighting. Unlike other mice we have seen recently, you get the choice of on or off for the two lighting set-ups. We nearly adore the simplicity.
