Razer has introduced a new update for its Razer Huntsman V2 Analog and Huntsman Mini Analog bringing a Rapid Trigger Mode to the keyboards.
Razer’s Rapid trigger mode is designed to improve the speed, responsiveness and precision of pro gamers and allows you to repeatedly actuate and reset a key with minimal effort. For a standard switch a keystroke can only be registered once it travels past a fixed actuation point and it needs to reset back past the fixed reset point before the next keystroke can be made. With Rapid Trigger Mode, this reset point is no longer fixed and the switch instead resets the instant it travels upwards once a keystroke is measured. This allows for users to perform repeated keystrokes with a rapid pace. For this method to work it requires the keyboard to know how far each key is pressed which is why it is only available on Razer’s Analog switch keyboards. Using the Razer Synapse app you can customise just how responsive you want this to be with the option of sensitivity as low as 0.1mm.
To update the Razer Synapse app to receive this new Rapid Trigger mode you should follow the following steps:
