Razer introduces the Naga Hex MOBA/action-RPG gaming mouse

Razer, a renown manufacturer in the peripheral market, has today announced the introduction a new gaming mouse aimed at MOBA and action-RPG player, the Naga Hex.

Inspired by the Naga MMO 12-button thumb grip mouse, this new gaming mouse is for player in the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena type of game, otherwise known as MOBA. The genre where champions are thrown into a ring to arm themselves, level up and duke it out against one another while defending massive super structures.

With six mechanical buttons optimized for MOBA and action-RPG game styles, the Naga Hex’s mechanical key infrastructure requires less force to actuate, therefore giving the advantage of speed to offer faster action before your enemies can react. In total, you will find 11 programmable buttons around the mouse.

With both game genre requiring lighting fast clicking, the mouse’s buttons are constructed with special switches offering up to 250 click per minute, and even so, the player shouldn’t worry, as the Naga Hex is good for 10 million clicks.

To make sure the comfort remains unaltered, the mouse has been perfected over countless designs and has been approved by numerous MOBA pro-gamers. To ensure comfortability further, the mouse comes with three interchangeable thumb rest to offer even better grip at the same time.

To ease the change in computer, the Naga Hex will also be enabled with the Razer Synapse 2.0, the world’s first cloud-based storage software where all the user custom mouse settings and profiles will be saved to and easily accessible from anywhere in order to never have to reconfigure your mouse wherever you go.

As for precision, the mouse features a Razer Precision 3.5G Laser Sensor with 5600 dpi and an polling rate of 1000 Hz. Dimensions are approximately 116 x 78 x 42 mm (LxWxH) with an approximate weight of 134 g.

The Razer Naga Hex will be priced at $79.99, pre orders start today at Razerzone.com and should ship by the end of January, worldwide availability will start in March 2012.
