Razer Kraken V3 X Wired USB Gaming Headset Review

Razer has long been one of the biggest names in gaming, offering many award-winning peripherals, systems and much more beyond… I think they’ve even got a toaster, now that I think about it. However, I’ll focus on their latest gaming headset today, with the Razer Kraken V3 X Wired USB Gaming Headset in the office. It’s the latest evolution of one of their most popular products and comes ready with support for PC, Mac and PlayStation devices, making it perfect for those who gaming on multiple systems.

Razer Kraken V3 X

It’s well equipped, too, with the Razer TriForce 40mm drivers powered by the built-in USB soundcard, which provides 7.1 surround processing. There’s also a HyperClear Cardioid Mic, which is certainly above what we usually see in this price range. Beyond that, you get all the usual ergonomic features, a lightweight design, and some Razer Chroma powered RGB lighting to help you jazz up your gaming space.

Features

  • Depth: 215 MM
  • 285g ultra-light build for marathon gaming sessions
  • Razer™ TriForce 40mm Drivers for high-end audio performance
  • Razer™ HyperClear Cardioid Mic for enhanced voice capture
  • Hybrid fabric and memory foam ear cushions for breathable, long-lasting comfort
  • 7.1 surround sound for accurate positional audio
  • Powered by Razer Chroma™ RGB for customizable earcup lighting and greater game immersion
  • Ultra-Light Comfort for Non-Stop Gaming
  • Height: 90 MM
  • Width: 172 MM

What Razer Had to Say

“Feel complete immersion without feeling the weight—introducing the Razer Kraken V3 X, a USB PC gaming headset that allows you to game on, and on, and on. Upgraded with patented Razer™ TriForce drivers for incredibly realistic sound, it’s time to lose yourself with an audio experience that’s always a win.” – Razer
