Razer has formally unveiled the Edge 5G, a new upcoming 5G handheld gaming device which they claim to be the ‘ultimate’ in the platform. This groundbreaking collaboration with Verizon will bring to market the world’s first dedicated 5G handheld console equipped with the world’s most advanced display of any gaming handheld, powered by the latest Snapdragon G3xFort Gen 1 Gaming Platform, and 5G network for gaming. It is specifically engineered to provide the best gaming performance while on the go.

When Will It Be Released?

Razer has confirmed that further details on the Edge 5G will be confirmed at CES 2023 this January with a release date seemingly set to fall shortly after. The only moderate downside, however, is that, at the time of writing, they are only alluding to a North American release with other regions being a little vaguer on the subject.
