Razer Launching Special Edition Gold Logo Phone

Razer Lunar New Year Special Edition

The lunar new year is almost here according to Chinese traditions. At the same time, companies are also celebrating as it is a goldmine of marketing opportunity. Even Blizzard is having yet another lunar new year event once again for Overwatch. On the hardware front, Razer is also launching a special edition of their Android phone.

Instead of the typical green Razer logo, the special edition has a gold color logo. Gold signifies luck and prosperity for the new year. Even the packaging follows the traditional gold and red color scheme, complete with red envelopes.

The phone itself does not feature anything else that is different. Other than the gold logo, it looks just like a regular Razer phone with a matte black color. The phone famously is the first to sport a 5.7-inch IGZO display with a 2560×1440 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

How Much Does This Special Edition Version Cost?

The good news is that this special edition version has the same price as the normal version at $699 USD. There is a special packaging and a letter of authenticity included. Plus the red envelope for putting in money and gold versions of the Razer logo sticker.
