Razer Naga Molten MMO Gaming Mouse Review

Final ThoughtsWhether there are any gamers out there who will make use of all the macro buttons on the Naga remains to be seen but it is reassuring to know that they are there if we need them. It can get a little confusing to distinguish accurately between the twelve macro buttons when trying to use a function quickly but this gets easier over time as you become used to the mouse.

As we’ve come to expect from Razer, the build quality of the Naga is nothing short of exceptional. And the attractive curves combined with the subtle lighting effects are sure to make it stand out well on your desk. It is nice to see Razer straying away from their usual blue LED lights with this mouse as the red gives the mouse a very different image.

Possibly the most important aspect of the majority of gaming mouse is price. After all, if a manufacturer overprices their products they aren’t likely to sell a huge number. With Razer being such a strong brand, there is a little room for higher prices because of their desirability. At around £80 , we feel that the Razer Naga Molten is a little pricey, especially considering you can have the standard version of the mouse for around £15 less. Whether you are willing to pay the extra for the slightly more interesting design and red lights something you’ll have to decide yourself.

Pros:

  • Attractive curves
  • More Macro buttons than you could ever need
  • Suits most gripping styles well
  • Comprehensive software suite
  • Interesting lighting design

Cons:

  • Expensive
