Razer has today revealed its latest BlackWidow V4 75% mechanical gaming keyboard with a robust build and a plethora of features.
The Razer BlackWidow V4 75% is Razer’s next entry into its large Keyboard portfolio with a more compact design for those who value more desk space for their mouse movements. The keyboard features a robust aluminium build, a gasket-mounted plate, hot-swappable key switches and Razer Chroma RGB lighting.
“The BlackWidow V4 75% is the result of Razer listening to the community, seamlessly merging customization with gaming,” said Barrie Ooi, Head of Razer’s PC Gaming Division. “Its hot-swappable architecture, paired with our elite mechanical switches and adaptive Chroma RGB lighting, empowers gamers to tailor a keyboard that’s truly unique to their needs.”
For those who enjoy customising your keyboards, the BlackWidow V4 75% uses hot-swappable switches with compatibility with both 3 or 5-pin switches for plenty of customization options. By default, the keyboard is pre-loaded with all-new Orange Tactile Mechanical Switches Gen-3. These switches feature a higher bump point with a cleaner sound profile which resonates with every keystroke, over the previous generation these match the desirability for tactility that modern gamers crave.
To provide superior sound, the BlackWidow V4 has been meticulously engineered with a gasket-mounted FR4 plate as well as two layers of sound-dampening foam. This foam has been placed between the PCB and FR4 plate as well as at the bottom of the case. The stabilisers for the larger keys have also been factory lubed for smoother travel and reduced rattling sounds, plus the stabilisers use a screw-in design which allows users to swap them out.
Additionally, this keyboard comes with of several features to enhance the experience including a multi-function roller and media keys for your entertainment needs. It also offers premium gaming features including an up to 8000 Hz polling rate, fully programmable keys via Razer Synapse, Doubleshot ABS Keycaps, N-key rollover and anti-ghosting. As expected with Razer, it also comes with Razer Chroma RGB lighting with a two side underglow and per-key lighting.
