Razer has today revealed its new Razer Cobra line of gaming mice built with customizability, connectivity and cutting-edge technology at the forefront.
The new Razer Cobra is available in a wired version and a wireless pro version both separated by a £100 price difference. Focusing more on the Cobra Pro, this mouse empowers gamers with 10 Customizable controls, 5 onboard memory profiles and 11 individually addressable Chroma RGB zones offering users with plenty of customizability. It features two additional side buttons as well as two behind the scroll wheel which can be used for macros to speed up your gameplay or even work. All of the controls and memory profiles can be altered through the Razer Synapse app.
Inside the Razer Cobra Pro is a Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor, Optical Mouse Switches Gen-3 and HyperSpeed technology. Users can expect true 4000 Hz polling rates with the Razer Mouse Dock Pro or the Razer HyperPolling Wireless Dongle. All of these internals add up to a weight of 77g which is mostly in the battery which offers up to 100 hours on the dongle and 170 hours through Bluetooth and is charged through USB Type-C.
The alternative and cheaper option is the standard Wired Cobra which cuts down on the RGB and programmable buttons. The wired design of this mouse also negates the need for a battery and has cut down the weight to 58g.
“There was a clear gap in the market for a mouse that offered a well-balanced, immersive gaming experience. Driven by that realization, we created the all-new Cobra line,” said Barrie Ooi, Head of Razer’s PC Gaming Division. “The Cobra Pro stands unrivaled as the most immersive, feature-rich wireless and symmetrical mouse available today, and we can’t wait for our community to try it out for themselves.”
