When it comes to releasing a product that’s a bit different from the standard, Razer are a name that commonly appears. Previously they have done collaborations with Dolce & Gabbana, The Smurfs and much more, they have a very wide product portfolio. Something else Razer has is a little mascot by the name of Sneki Snek who has now been turned into a stylish bit of RGB gamer wall art.
Razer is right now hosting a charity campaign named #GoGreenForRazer which is being conducted with Conservation International which has the goal of saving trees. For every sale of Sneki Snek merchandise sold, part of the proceeds will go towards saving trees and so far the company has saved over 1.4 million trees out of the 10 million tree target. For every milestone reached a new Sneki Snek themed product gets released some of which include a plushie, a floor rug, slippers, fridge magnets, a blanket, and now for the 1,250,000 milestone, a Sneki Snek Wall Light.
The wall light features LED Neon lights to make up the key features of Sneki Snek and features four dynamic RGB lighting effects; Static green, breathing green, spectrum cycling and wave. The wall light features pre-drilled holes for a quick and easy setup, and connects to any 5V USB Type A power source, unfortunately it doesn’t connect with Razer Synapse Software so you are restricted to the preset lighting.
The Razer Sneki Snek Wall Light is available at the Razer.com store for $79.99/£79.99. I’m not a fan of RGB lighting nor Razer products, but it’s for a good cause. If you would like to see the other Sneki Snek themed products, visit the campaign page here.
I do wonder what Razer will do for the bigger milestones, maybe a 5 foot Sneki Snek plush for 5 million or an actual snake at 10 million.
