Razer has unveiled their upgraded 14-inch Blade gaming notebook with the better CPU, GPU and display.
“When we debuted the Razer Blade in 2013, we set the benchmark for gaming laptops – and other companies worldwide have followed in our footsteps,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. “We continue to listen as gamer needs evolve and the new Razer Blade again sets the industry standard by which gaming laptops are measured.”
The new version got a GTX 970M graphics card with 3GB VRAM and an IGZO QHD display with a 3200×1800 pixel resolution for great graphic performance. The Nvidia Optimus technology makes the Blade switch between the Nvidia graphics and Intel HD Graphics in the background to save on power when the performance isn’t needed.
The new CPU is the Intel Core i7-4720HQ quad-core (eight threads) CPU with a 2.6GHz base clock and 3.6GHz turbo boost. It further has up to 512GB SSD and 16GB 1600MHz RAM.
Specifications
The new Razer Blade will be available between now and March 16th depending on your location and starts at $2199. A non-touch Full HD model will also be made available in March, but it comes with less memory and storage – and slightly cheaper at $1999.
