Readers Rigs Feb 2018
In February, we asked all of our fans to impress us by posting images of their systems. Following a fantastic response, firstly, might we say, we were amazed that we were not spammed with terrible builds. We have genuinely seen some pretty amazing systems and as such we have picked out some of the ones we liked the most.
The Patriotic Build
In a fantastically clean presentation, Twitter eTeknix fan Own Jenkins (@OJ_hay) has sent us a picture of his highly patriotic build.
Including a custom loop which is surprisingly tight, the white throughout the build is an exceptionally nice touch.
The Cool Build
Facebook user Justin Hallet Sent us a picture of his system with some ice cool lighting.
Clearly, Justin is a fan of Corsair and Aorus in this build and most impressively, despite 6 fans, this system speaks of a very cool and considered build.
Sleek and Understated System!
On our Twitter posts, the user Michael (@michael15299) sent us a photo of this system. The understated LED lighting makes the build very attractive to the eye and the sleekness of the build is definitely to be commended.
He rather kindly posted his system specs which include;
- Case – H500p Front Panel Mod
- Motherboard – Gigabyte z370 Gaming 7.
- Processor – Intel 8700k 5ghz
- RAM – Corsair LPX 3000mhz
- GPU – EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW2
- PSU – SuperNova 750w G3
In addition, the system is also protected by Achmed the dead terrorist.
The Integrated Build
These system builds, as integrated desks, are getting more common for the DIY PC enthusiast. They do of course have many perks. For example, you can be a lot more liberal in your layout, cables can be tactfully placed and in my personal opinion with an enclosed case air flow can be fantastic while keeping the dreaded dust at bay.
Oh, and of course you can show it off to everyone.
Extra points as well for Facebook reader Daniel Ray for what also appears to be a B-MO mousepad.
The Green Custom Loop Build!
Although I can not specifically see any brand naming on those coolers, I’d be surprised if they weren’t Corsair. If nothing else the green gives it away.
In a highly complex custom loop which would appear to include a triple rad, double rad, and single rad, as well as also including a cooling chamber, Facebook reader John Bennett clearly knows his way around liquid builds.
