Information has been found on Rockstars Website which suggests that a possible Remaster of Red Dead Redemption 1 may be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
This new leak was shared by Tez2, well known for having the latest information on Rockstar’s games and updates. Tez2 spotted something new on the Rockstar Website where Red Dead Redemption 1 was added into the rating list of the modern site modules further fueling the idea of a remaster for the title. Additionally new platform buttons most importantly including Nintendo Switch were also shared. Now the platform buttons are just a preview and a placeholder within the website, however the GTA Trilogy remastered is available on Nintendo Switch so RDR Remastered coming to the Switch is not too far-fetched. Whether the game could run well on Switch is another question as it is a much newer game than the original trilogy titles so a remaster could very well put it beyond the Switch capabilities.
When it comes to the remaster itself, all we can hope is that it isn’t a complete disaster like the trilogy remasters were. With the 10-year anniversary of GTA V coming up, we could possibly hear something soon and maybe even some GTA 6 news.
