Oh my goodness, would I love a full PC release of Red Dead Redemption! However, it doesn’t look like that’s going to be happening anytime soon, and short of dusting off a console, while not every PC gamer will have, there’s not exactly a lot of options out there right now to play Red Dead Redemption.
Fortunately, it seems PC gamers will have one new angle next week, as Rockstar will release the open-world western antics on PlayStation Now. This does mean that you’ll have to pay for a subscription to the PlayStation Now game streaming service and it does mean you’ll want half decent internet to stream the game too, but with 450+ games on PS Now and having tried the service myself, it’s not as bad as it sounds… honestly.
If you’re eager to play the game ahead of the future release from Rock Star, and you only have PC, this is the best way to go right now.
“On this coming Tuesday, December 6th, the PS3 versions of Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare are both coming to the PlayStation Now service.” said Rockstar. “For more details on PlayStation Now, which lets you stream classic PS3 titles on PS4 or PC and is currently available in North America, the United Kingdom, Belgium and the Netherlands, visit the official site.”
Head on over to the PlayStation Now store for more details, but remember there’s a free trial for the first 7 days, so if you don’t want to pay up, just try complete the game in a week!
