Microsoft’s annual contest for the indie game development community is open for business. Do you have what it takes to win the prize?
The contest, which allows players to submit games created for Xbox 360 built through the XNA development tools, will be accepting registrations at the Dream, Build, Play official site from anyone over the age of 14. After you register, your team must submit a game for the contest between May 15 and June 12.
There’s a new category this year for the Windows Phone platform, so aspiring mobile developers can also be a part of the action.
To get an idea of what developers have done in the past, there are 13 semi-finalists from the 2011 Dream, Build, Play contest available for download on the Xbox Live Arcade indie channel.
Finalists in this year’s contest will have the opportunity to show their games at PAX 2012 in Seattle.
