Remnant From the Ashes Gets Free Next-Gen 4K Update this Week

Following the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S release last year, we have already seen several games receive ‘next-gen’ updates looking to take advantage of applying a little more graphical gloss thanks to the significantly improved hardware. Therefore, if you do have a lot of love for Remnant From the Ashes (and we see no reason why not, as it’s a pretty decent title), you might want to get that game back on your hard drive as following an official Twitter post, it has been confirmed that the next-gen update will be released this week!
Remnant From the Ashes
The update will be released for both PS5 and Xbox Series X/S owners and, presuming that you already own the base game, will be made available to you for free. What do you get in this update, though? Well, by and large, it boils down to two factors; higher resolutions and/or better frame rates. As noted in the post below, you can either look to upgrade your resolution to 4K at the ‘cost’ of the framerate being capped to 30FPS. Alternatively, you can keep things at 1080P but see those framerates shoot up to 60!
