PhoneArena have revealed a rendered image of a Nexus 10 2013 Edition leaked to them by an anonymous source. The render shows the Nexus 10 2013 edition as being dramatically different to the current Nexus 10, pictured below. We can see thinner bezels, a default portrait not landscape orientation and different placement of the buttons.
So far we know that the new Nexus 10 will be produced by ASUS, not Samsung who produce the current Nexus 10, and we also know it should have a quad core Snapdragon SoC – probably a Snapdragon 800. The resolution is expected to be maintained at 2560 x 1600 but the quality of the panel should be improved as that was one of the complaints about Samsung’s Nexus 10. Another rumour which diverges from the prior hardware speculation suggests that the ASUS Nexus 10 2013 edition will be based on the unreleased Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T meaning it could be Tegra 4 powered. Either way it is going to be a powerful device.
What do you think of the new design? Better or worse than the old design?
