Researches of Stanford University created Flexible peel-and-stick solar cells

The researchers at Stanford University have created the world’s first flexible photo-voltaic solar cells which can be applied to almost anywhere as shown in the picture below.

These solar cells are on a peel-and-stick film and can be applied on either rough, smooth, flat or curved surfaces and even on materials such as plastic, paper and windows; basically, whatever one can think of. Anything from mobile phones or any portable devices and even curved roofs can use this to harness solar power.

The published paper shows that its not easy to make traditional solar cells other than on than on silicon or glass materials. With the peel-and-stick method, this solves the provles of of fabrication.
