We are officially just under two months away from the release of the Resident Evil 2 remake. Yes, following that huge announcement during E3 2018, we haven’t got much longer to try out what, for many, will be the most anticipated game of the year. Yes, even as early as January!
Capcom certainly hasn’t been shy about giving out news about the game. We’ve seen more than a few screenshots and video here and there. All, clearly, designed to try and get us even more hyped (as if that was possible).
Well, in a report via DSOGaming, things might be set to be cranked up to a whole new level. A Resident Evil 2 Remake demo might be available to try out in the next couple weeks!
In the report, rumours are growing that Capcom is set to release the demo in December. While we do not have an exact date, remember that December is upon us this Saturday. As such, it’s certainly not beyond the realms of possibility that we could be playing the demo before Christmas. That would be a nice and unexpected present!
We do have to add the caveat that Capcom has certainly not confirmed anything in this regard. No demo has been officially announced and they have given us nothing to confirm that this will definitely happen. At the same time though, despite demos being more unpopular in recent years, this doesn’t seem beyond the realms of likelihood either.
We’ll certainly be keeping an eye on this one!
