I daresay that for many people the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake is one of their most anticipated gaming releases of the year. No, it wasn’t the Code Veronica remake most of us seemed to think represented a far more logical choice, but given how awesome the original title was, seeing it get a fresh coat of graphical gloss was still clearly a very appealing proposition.
With it set for release in a little under three months, however, there is always the somewhat Sword of Damocles regarding any potential delays or pushback. In this regard, however, we may have some excellent news as following a report via WCCFTech, Capcom’s Yoshiaki Hirabayashi has said that the development of the Resident Evil 4 Remake has officially entered its “final spurt” with its scheduled March 24th release date looking pretty firm at this point!
According to his comments, Yoshiaki Hirabayashi has strongly hinted that the development of Resident Evil 4 Remake has now officially entered its final push, and more so, we can likely expect something new to be revealed from the upcoming title, such as a new trailer, in the very near future. – While he hasn’t gone as far as to declare the game ‘Gold’, this would seem to indicate that an announcement on this can likely be expected at some point towards the end of February.
Put simply, Resident Evil 4 Remake seems well on track to make its March 24th release date. Let’s just hope that nothing comes along to put a spanner (or chainsaw) in the works!
